THIN FILM SYSTEMS

Thin Film systems are typically applied over a properly prepared previously coated floor or to a chemically prepared (acid etched) uncoated concrete surface in 2 to 3 coats and range from 8-20 mils in thickness. They typically consist of a roll down, solvent or water based primer with one or more topcoats based on the type of floor. They may be applied either smooth (not recommended) or with added traction grit. For increased chemical and/or yellowing resistance and gloss retention a two part aliphatic urethane can be employed as the final topcoat.

These systems can be used in warehouses, dealership parts rooms, corporate hangars, and other lighter duty areas.
